My name is Lauren Dunleavy. My husband and I graduated from Sam Houston State University and are both educators. We are blessed with two little boys. I have taught in multiple grade levels ranging from kindergarten through fourth grade both in general and special education. I have also served in campus leadership roles for a few years. I am thrilled to be joining the Canyon Pointe Elementary School family! I look forward to working alongside the staff, students, and families towards the continued excellence that already takes place at our school each day!

I have a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas A&M and Master of Library Science from SHSU. My goal is to continue growing the library program and bringing book joy and library fun to everyone!
