Welcome to Canyon Pointe Elementary
Hello! My name is Renee Tristan and I am the ESL Specialist here at Canyon Pointe. This is my 10th year in education and I am so excited to be joining the Canyon Pointe Elementary Family!
I received my Bachlors degree from Sam Houston State University in Early Childhood Education and my Masters degree from Stephen F. Austin State Universtiy in Educational Leadership. As an educator, I love creating magical moments in the classroom when students are 100% engaged and fall in love with learning. These moments we create inspire our students to become lifelong learners beyond their years in the classroom.
When not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two daughters, 8 and 4 years old. We love DISNEY, football, movies, and especially just hanging out as a family.
It is a pleasure and a blessing to work with the students and staff at Canyon Pointe Elementary. It's going to be an AMAZING 2018-2019 school year!!!
