Welcome to 4th Grade!

I am so excited you're in my class! You have been thought about constantly, prayed for continually, and loved on deeply. You have no idea how thrilled I am that I get to be your fourth grade teacher! Together, we will be climbing this mountain and experiencing the honor and fulfillment of learning from each other. It will be such a fun ride!

> First, we will journey through the world of Reading where we will explore different genres, enjoy read aloud, and engage in a structured learning environment with rotations that tailor to every need.

> Next, we will have an adventure in the world of Writing, where we will dive deep into revising and editing, immerse ourselves in expository (essay) writing, and soak in new vocabulary! Oh, and CURSIVE! My teacher heart is having a happy dance right now!

> Then, we will venture into the world of Math, where we will delve into different units, such as multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, and much more! Like Reading, we will also be tailoring every student need through small groups and structured rotations. This way, students are always getting what they need on their own individual levels!

> And finally, we will be riding the wave of Science and Social Studies, where we will be learning about the history of Texas, as well as multiple units in Science, such as life cycles, energy, weather patterns, moon phases, and so much more!

We will have an amazing year full of fun, learning, and excitement!
