We would like to feature the fabulous three math websites that are available for our students to use at home. To make it a meaningful session, we suggest students log on for at least fifteen minutes at a time. Students have login information.

First in Math-

First in Math has more than 120 self-paced activities that help students master procedural skills and achieve the fluency essential to building a solid foundation in mathematics. The program reinforces mastery of basic facts. Improvement is self-directed and new habits replace unproductive habits, driving success in every academic area.

Think Through Math-

As a web-based learning system, students use it anytime, anywhere – on virtually any device (7-inch screen or better). Parents love Think Through Math because it provides one-to-one differentiation and instructional support at every step.

Prodigy-

Prodigy has content from all major topics and will seamlessly cover Grades 1 - 8 to help ensure your students are ready for standardized testing. With a diagnostic test to place students in the correct grade, embedded assessments, and automatic differentiation, Prodigy ensures that each one of your students succeed at their own pace.

Math Homework

Dear Parents,

For the third nine weeks, we have decided to pull back from the book homework and spotlight our wonderful math programs our district has offered to our students. The students have login information for Think Through Math, First in Math, and Prodigy. We are requiring that students log onto one of these programs twice a week for at least 15 minutes each time.

Thank you for your support,

Volunteer Application

Dear Parents,

This is just a friendly reminder that Volunteer Applications must be resubmitted each academic year. (It must be current as of August 2015). If you think that would like to volunteer at Canyon Pointe in any capacity, please complete the online Volunteer Application through the Tomball ISD Webpage.

It is recommended that this application be completed at the beginning of the year, as it may take a few days to process the request. The application takes about 5-10 minutes to complete.

Thank you for your support. If you have any questions about this process, please contact the front office.
